Welcome to a band you can’t put in a box. To describe Matija in written form never really worked. Just listen to the music. Anyway, let’s try very, very shortly!

Defying classic genre attributions, their music is best described as Indie/Alternative-Pop -Matija manage to create their own style, a imaginative mixture of genres and influences from various art forms and often inspired by real life.

With singles like White Socks, absolutelynothing(today), More Than Happiness and their two studio albums Are We An Electric Generation Falling Apart? and byebyeskiesofyesterday Matija appeared in various TV & film formats, radio rotations & playlists plus on stage with several tours, festival shows and as a support band to international acts.
